Concept [65s]
- Title / Introduction [10s] -- Think of a subtitle, like ‘welcome to the future of architecture’ Show rendering of the complete ceiling system (already used in ‘System in action’ in the ‘Design’ part) with moving furniture and wall components which look a little bit like a cloud in itself, similar to this visual: http://bit.ly/Ypj3E4. This way the context of our design is clear from the start and we need to make these renderings anyway to explain the whole design. Use on screen ‘bubble’ to skip to ‘design’ part (YouTube)
- Society is changing [15s] -- show how we used to live and work in one place, now we are ‘job-hoppers’ and we now move houses about 7 times in our lives all over the world Animated version of this slide http://bit.ly/10dwBPv
- Our answer to accommodate this lifestyle is Cloud Life [40s] -- architecture is very slow to adapt to change, where the entertainment and transportation industry have made the step towards more flexible and accessible distributed businessmodels (show Spotify, Dropbox and Greenwheels) [15s] -- explain owning a house and office is old-fashioned, the future is having a subscription to ‘space’ to do what (show functions) you want, where (show country and worldmap) you want and you only pay when (show 3 typical users with different living patterns) you use it. [25s]

Design [100s]
- Design requirements [40s]
-- Affordability and profitability [20s] Affordable for the users who only pay for the amount of m2 they use and the exact time they use it Profitable for ‘Cloud Life operators’ in that location because the same space is ‘booked’ by different users during the day. Show text above by two animations next to each other of 24h day: On the left, a person waking up, leaving home, going to work and doing some leisure activities all the while a ‘money meter’ will keep rising slowly. On the right, the same space used by three different people with a quicker rising money meter, but it is cheaper for each individual and more profitable for the operator who rents it out to Cloud Life users.
-- Sustainability [10s] - Design for existing buildings (like the many empty office buildings in The Netherlands) - Only design for actual use, more intense use of same space. - Use materials with environmental impact which can be completely re-used
-- Flexibility : [10s] - Could be applied to existing and new buildings - The design itself ican be scaled up to any size - It works like a hive-system even when parts of the system might fail and can work around existing structures like columns without a problem.
- We only use the ceiling [15s] -- We designed only the ceiling system, which can can work and scale up in any space with a flat ceiling. We can work around existing structural elements without a problem. It’s a hive-like system, which still works when parts brake down. [10s] -- There is a 0-mode in which all elements including space dividing walls and all furniture is stowed away in the ceiling and a space can be used to it’s full potential [5s]
- Interface [30s]
- Booking system [15s] -- To make sure your room is ready when you arrive -- You can choose the location, date, time, m2 and function(s) you need all in our online booking system -- The price is automatically chaning based on an algorithm with takes scarcity into account, as well as your desired roomsize and functional components you want present in the room
- Personalisation [15s] -- Log onto the CloudLife website and set your personal tastes (colors, furniture settings, lighting, room dimensions, etc) -- Change your room digitally in real time from your tablet, phone or laptop -- Change your room manually by moving around furniture or walls
- System in action [15s] - Start with animations (and when the 1:5 scale model and 1:1 model is fnished, we can use movies of those as well)

Future scenarios [15s]
- More design options [5s] -- show small particles working together to create any desired shape of space and furniture
- More is more [5s] -- We can expand the number of locations and explain we would like to start in large Dutch city centres and later spread out throughout the whole world and even smaller villages to take over the (or even solar system ;) ) (to show this spread, we might use a movie similar to this: http://youtu.be/v6GnX3ZhuAg)
- Credits [5s] - Our names - Names of tutors and subjects - Link to our project page Use a ‘YouTube’ bubble hovering over each person Use a shortlink for our website like bit.ly/CloudLife
